The Progtech THOR industrial LED reflectors replace luminaries traditionally used in heavy industries such as steel mills, rolling mills and foundries. They are especially suitable for high temperature dusty areas and wherever discharge or halogen lighting sources are to be replaced. This reflector is rated in the protection class IP65 and it is available in neutral white (4.000K), or cold white (5.000K). The “LED Engine” of the unit consist of a COB LED Citizen, to ensure top performance in terms of color rendering index (C.R.I.), energy efficiency and life (life-time estimated >75.000 hours). The LED source is combined with a custom designed, heat-sink with Heat Pipe technology and a high efficiency electronic driver. The optical component is a high purity aluminum reflector (99,85%), with a beam opening angle 90° and a special “BRITE” treatment (polishing and anodizing clear for a maximum high luminous flux output). The unit is completed by a tempered glass closing. Each THOR appliance can be supplied in combination with a power line carrier communication system to program the switching on, switching off and the setting operations of the lighting system.
